Vacherin Mont D'or
A superb meltingly rich Alpine cheese famous all over the world. A baked Vacherin with crusty bread is impressive both in its simplicity and its fabulous flavour. Available between October and March.
Vacherin Mont d’Or hot from the oven
- Wrap the outside and bottom of the box in foil
- Prick the surface with a fork and add a garlic clove or two
- Pour a little of dry white wine over the surface.
- Pre-heat an oven to 200°C and bake for 25 minutes.
