Montagnolo
Full fat soft mould ripened blue vein cheese made with pasteurised cow’s milk and cream.
This deliciously creamy soft cheese ripens particularly slowly at low temperatures. Using the so-called cold maturation process, it calmly develops its aromatic, spicy flavour and special consistency.
On the inside, Montagnolo is laced with fine blue culture that give it a distinctive, slightly sweet aroma and delicate creaminess. During the maturation, the soft cheese is carefully tended by hand, guaranteeing the master cheesemakers “1ère Qualité” seal. Creamy with the subtle spiciness, Montagnolo is only available at the cheese counter.
