Gouda Young waxed
Whilst being one of the most historic of cheeses, this is also a staple of the modern deli counter. Named after the Dutch City of Gouda where much of the production is still centred, Gouda comes in a variety of ages and strengths. This is a mild creamy Gouda which is delicious both on its own or when paired with cooked meats. Use it as you would a medium cheddar. Gouda melts well and is excellent in cooking.
